Unfortunately the Valiant Dance Band (Roger Digby – concertina, Liz Giddings – fiddle, John Howson – banjo & guitar, Rob Neal – cello and myself – melodeons) never recorded an album before John died in 2022. We had the most amazing repertoire of little known tunes and created a great vibe for ceilidh dancing.
Just recently (2026) I’ve discovered a video on YouTube, unfortunately without dancers, so all looking a bit undynamic, but the music is lively! Thanks to Bill Johnston for the filming at FolkEast 2018.
